Summary: The Oakville Chinese Network Society is a non-profit organization rooted in the Oakville Chinese community, run by a number of volunteers who are passionate about their work in social and public services. We aim at becoming the voice of the local Chinese community, promoting Chinese traditional culture and participating in various multicultural and social activities.
OCN is currently seeking a professional web developer to completely redesign and rebuild our organizational website, transforming it from a basic information platform into a comprehensive, accessible, bilingual resource hub that effectively serves community members and communicates our credibility to funders and partners. The new website will be fully bilingual in English and simplified Chinese, will meet accessibility standards, and will be owned and maintained by OCN going forward.
This work is part of OCN’s Equity Stream Fund project, an Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) initiative administered by OCASI (Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants), which supports equity-deserving grassroots organizations in building stronger organizational capacity.

Required Qualifications:
Working hours: Flexible
Fee: Fixed-fee contract, agreed with the successful developer based on their proposal within the approved project budget, paid against proper invoicing
Duration: Between August 17, 2026 and March 31, 2027
